KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Trevecca moved up two spots to No. 17 in the final edition of the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday. Top-ranked California Baptist tallied all 23 first-place votes, followed by No. 2 Lee (Tenn.), No. 3 Lubbock Christian (Texas) and No. 4 Concordia (Ore.). California State-San Marcos improved two spots to take over at No. 5.

No. 17 Trevecca Nazarene and second-ranked Lee University have already captured their respective postseason conference tournaments to punch their ticket to the NAIA Softball National Championship in Decatur, Ala., May 20 - 26. At 41-15, 11-3 TranSouth Athletic Conference, the top-seeded Trojans bounced back from a 3-1 loss to defeat sixth-seeded Bethel (Tenn.) in 10 innings for the league crown, 5-4, on April 30.

Qualifiers for the NAIA Softball National Championship in Decatur, Ala., May 20 - 26, will be released May 10, followed by the pool-play schedule May 11.
