NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca Nazarene University baseball coach Jonathan Burton is pleased to announce the signing of pitcher Justin Dailey of Clarksville (Tenn.) High School.

"The Trevecca baseball family is extremely excited to have Justin Dailey commit to our program," said Coach Burton. "We are looking forward to watching him develop over the next four seasons."

The lefthander went 9-1 as a senior, with a 1.89 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 70.1 innings. He was named the District 10-AAA Pitcher of the Year. "He's just an all-around talented athlete and a pitcher that will help Trevecca," said Dailey's high school coach, Brian Hetland. Dailey helped lead the Wildcats to a 33-10-1 record and their first state tournament appearnance in more than 30 years.

Coach Burton added, "Justin has been one of the most consistent high school pitchers I have seen in this area throughout the entire season. He will fit in immediately for us and is only going to get better as he continues to grow and mature as a college pitcher."

"I really liked Trevecca because I'll get the opportunity to pitch and could play immediately," said Dailey. "I felt at home at Trevecca and I'm looking forward to playing there."
