ATHERTON, Calif.-The Trevecca Nazarene University sports information and marketing offices received five publication awards at the 2010 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics-Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA) workshop, held July 3, 2010, at Menlo College in Atherton, Calif.
The Trojans' staff of Gregory Ruff, Steve Ulrey, David Patrick, Elizabeth Streight, Trevor Lubiens, Rick Hill, J. Sheffield, and Tony Stogsdill earned a top-six finish in five different categories for publications created in the 2009-10 academic year.
The publications are judged by sports information directors, media members and design experts from across the country. Trevecca's SID Greg Ruff judged the NAIA football guides again this year.

Trevecca took top honors in two different publications contests of the nearly 300 NAIA schools. For the third consecutive year, the Trojans' men's golf cover was judged as the "Best in the Nation." The Trevecca men's soccer cover also won first place in 2009-10. Trevecca picked up fifth-place honors in the men's soccer media guide category, and the Trojans' baseball and softball guides each took home sixth place in their categories.
Since entering its first NAIA-SIDA contest in 1999, Trevecca has achieved the following record for its sports publications: 25 top-five finishes, 43 top-ten finishes, eight "best cover" awards, and a runner-up "best cover" award.
This year the production of the guides was managed by Trevecca director of sports information Gregory Ruff. Photography was supplied by Elizabeth Streight, Gregory Ruff, and Tony Stogsdill, with editing provided by Jan Greathouse, Brenda Patterson, and Elizabeth Streight. Cover designs and interior design came from Rick Hill, David Patrick, Elizabeth Streight, Trevor Lubiens, and J. Sheffield, with interior design assistance from Gregory Ruff. In addition, each coaching staff contributed to the production of their respective media guide and area of the website.
