NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tuesday, July 20, 2010 Trevecca is hosting three fast-pitch softball games at the Trojan Softball Complex. The games will feature several top players from colleges in the area, including five Trevecca players: Monica West (Firebirds, Silver Bullets), Breanna Zeis (Firebirds, Silver Bullets), Haylee Rogers (TN Explosion Gold), Allison Gaddis (Silver Bullets), and Heather Shuler (Silver Bullets).

Of note is the Silver Bullets pitching staff of University of Tennessee hurlers Megan Rhodes and Ivy Renfroe. The TN Explosion feature Tennessee signee Ellen Renfroe and Virginia Tech signee Kat Banks.

The Silver Bullets, coached by Ben Tyree and John Polsteen, feature players from Trevecca, MTSU, TSU, Tennessee Martin, Belmont, and Martin Methodist.

The Murfreesboro Firebirds, coached by former Blackman High coach Scott Dorsett, have several outstanding college players from UT Martin. Christian Brothers, and Trevecca Nazarene University.
 
TN Explosion Gold, coached by Brian Drake, has qualified for the 18-U Gold National tournament in Marietta, Ga. with players from the University of Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Lipscomb, MTSU, Stanford, Kentucky, and Trevecca.
