NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A number of current and future Trojans are playing summer baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. There are seven current or future Trojan baseball players participating in the KIT (Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee League) and two made the TSCBA (Tennessee Summer Collegiate Baseball Association) All-Star Team. The TSCBA and KIT League are wood bat leagues.

B.J. Boston and Luke Fennell made the TSCBA All-Star Team as a part of the Nashville Panthers. Mitch McClay, a transfer from Lambuth University, is the third player and represented the Fulton Railroaders on the KIT League All-Star team. The Trevecca connection continues as the Panthers are coached by former Trojan reliever Steven Brown.

Boston, a pitcher, has produced a 4-1 record with 30 strikeouts, nine walks, and a 2.70 earned run average over  26.2 innings pitched.

Fennell, a catcher, has a .306 batting average and leads the Panthers with two triples, is second with 26 hits, and third with 14 RBI.

McClay Has the fifth best batting average in the KIT League at .333. His numbers include 14 stolen bases, 30 runs scored, seven doubles, six home runs, and 27 RBI.

The All-Star game was played against the Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee League (KIT) All-Stars in Owensboro, Ky. on July 4.
 
Rising Trevecca sophomore Trae Weiss also plays for the Panthers while Corey Crunk and Matt Owens play for the Wilson County Lynx and Scott Lynn is playing for the Southern Middle Tennessee Wildcats.

There are two incoming Trojans that are playing for the Nashville Outlaws wood bat team in the Prospect League. P.J. Francescon and Craig Stem. The team plays their games at Vanderbilt's Hawkins Field www.nashvilleoutlaws.com.
