NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jonathan Burton, the Trevecca baseball coach, has added junior college player Jordan Foreman to his 2010-2011 signing class. Foreman, of Orange, Calif., played the last two years with Cypress Junior College in Cypress, Calif.

The 5-foot-10 outfielder started 32 of 39 games the season for coach Scott Pickler at Cypress. He produced a .317 batting average with 33 runs, three doubles, two triples, two home runs, and 25 RBI. As a freshman he played in 31 games, starting ten while hitting .278 with four doubles seven RBI. He played error-free ball in the field last year.

"Jordan is going to really help us in the outfield," says coach Burton. "He has the ability to really go get it and tracks the ball very well. He is very reliable in the outfield and with his addition it will allow our outfielders to now play their more natural positions."

At El Modena High School, in Orange, Calif., he was a two-year letter winner and named two-time First Team All-Century League. Additionally he was an All-County selection as a senior and the Century League Offensive Player of the Year. He led El Modena to the CIF Quarterfinals as a junior and was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year. He played for Josh Kliner at El Modena where he was the Most Valuable Player as a senior.
