"This was a great experience for our young team," said coach Jayme Crowley. "We have improved and grown during our training and its showed this weekend. We have freshman in the lineup and they played poised, not like freshman a lot of the time. That impressed me and encouraged me for the immediate and long term future."

Crowley continued, "I was very pleased with the leadership I saw from our senior captain Brooke Cannon as well as Haley White and Cassidy Watkins. They all stepped into leadership roles very nicely."

"The opponents coming this week aren't going to be easy, but they give us another opportunity to improve ourselves now that we have four games to reflect upon. I'm excited to get to practice and then see our progress at the end of the week."

Trevecca will host their first conference match of the year when Bethel University (0-1) visits Moore Gym on Thursday, September 2 at 6 p.m. Trevecca will host the Scott Jones Classic on Friday and Saturday September 3-4.
