WALESKA, Ga. - The Trevecca (0-0-1) women's soccer team, just returned from a week-long mission trip to the Bahamas, ended their match at Reinhardt University (0-0-1) with a 1-1 tie on Saturday.

Trevecca's Kayla VanEs put the Trojans on top with an unassisted goal at the 6:21 mark of the first half. The host Eagles would hold the Trojans scoreless for the remainder of the match.

Reinhardt evened the match at 1-1 with a goal at 51:50 from Regent Fuller. Krisat Barikos assisted.

Neira Ahmespahic, who started in goal and played 51:50, allowed the lone Eagle goal and had five saves for the Trojans. Bekah Headrick finished the final 38:10 in goal for the Trojans and had two saves.

Trevecca had just six shots and two shots on goal in the game. Reinhardt had 18 shots, but only eight of those were on goal.

Trevecca will host Covenant College (0-0) for their home opener on Wednesday, September 1 at 5 p.m.
