BATESVILLE, Ark. - Hayden Coffman of Trevecca Nazarene University has been named the TranSouth defender of the week for the week ending Aug. 29, 2010.
The six-foot-2 junior keeper from Hendersonville, Tenn., had a total of 12 saves in Trevecca's 2-1 season opening win over Montreat College.
The Cavaliers were able to take a total of 22 shots, 13 were shots goal. Only one passed by the five-time TranSouth defender of the week.
Trevecca Nazarene is 1-0 on the season. Trevecca finished fifth in the TranSouth last season and are picked to finish seventh according to the preseason coaches' poll.
