NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca women's soccer team (0-1-1) went down in defeat in its home opener Wednesday evening, falling to Covenant College (1-0) 2-0 at the Trevecca soccer complex.
The Trojans controlled play for a good portion of the first half, but each team only managed two
shots on goal in a scoreless first half.
The second half was a much different story, as the Scots outshot the Trojans 11-2 and got goals from Lauren Probst in the 54' and Amy Dykstra in the 67' to take home the victory.
The Trojans are back on the road this weekend, traveling to NCAA Division III
Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga. for a match Friday afternoon at 1 p.m..
