NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca baseball
coach Jonathan Burton is pleased to announce the signing of Tim Dunn. Dunn has
just recently completed a successful stay at John A. Logan College in
Cartersville, Ill. The Bardstown, Ky. native prepped at Carlisle County High
School.
Coach Burton feels Dunn will make an immediate impact on the staff, "Tim has the potential to be one of the finest arms we have had at Trevecca. He has the build and arm strength to be special pitcher for us. We are excited to have a pitcher of his caliber here at Trevecca."
Dunn was named an NJCAA All-American
and was voted the Great Rivers Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year, the
Region 24 Player of the Year, and made the All-Northern District team this
season. The rising junior struck out 51 batters while compiling a record of 12-1
with a 1.52 ERA over the 2007-2008 season.
