DAYTON, Tenn. - The No. 9 Trojans (3-0) picked up their third win of the day, knocking off the host Bryan Lions (0-11) 10-2 in six innings in the Bryan Invitational at Delaware Park.
Trevecca wasted no time jumping on top, sending 11 batters to plate and scoring six runs on five hits. Kari Mason singled twice in the inning, driving in a pair of runs and scoring once. The Trojans were also helped by a pair of errors by the Lions in the inning. Heather Shuler's 2-run single in the second put the Trojans up 8-0, and that's the way it stayed until the Lions put single runs on the board in the fourth and sixth innings. Trevecca wrapped up the game with two more runs in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Hannah Schnebly and a single by Shuler.
Shuler ended up going 3-4 with four RBI and a run scored. Mason went 2-4 with two RBI and a run scored, Kelsey Lantrip went 2-3 with an RBI, a walk, and a run score, Karli Rush went 2-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, and Melinda Patterson scored three runs.

The Trojans get an early start Saturday, with an 8 a.m. game against Young-Harris College (3-4).
