NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca volleyball coach Jayme Crowley has added Jaimee Havens of Peyton, Colo., to her recruiting class for the Fall of 2011.
Havens, a 5-foot-10 middle blocker from William J. Palmer High School, will bring a strong athletic and academic resume to the Trojans roster next season.
Havens has five years of club experience with the Colorado Springs Altitude club. The versatile Havens can play three different positions and is especially solid with her front row attacking and blocking skills.
Crowley knows Havens will be a player that can help a number of ways, "Jaimee is a great all-around player and as a person possesses a positive attitude, good work ethic, and passion for excellence. She will be a great addition to our university and volleyball program."
While playing for Sergio Rangel at Palmer High School Havens was a three-time first team All-State Academic honoree. As a senior she was selected to the all-conference team and lettered three times.
During her junior season she was named most improved player.
Havens club coach was Kris Adkins. During her five years with the Colorado Spring Altitude club she was named as the club's most valuable player.
