NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The TranSouth Athletic Conference has announced the list of 2011 TranSouth Women's Golf Scholar-Athletes, and 14 golfers have been honored, including three from Trevecca Nazarene University.
The Trojans honored as TranSouth Scholar-Athletes are Whitney Phillips, Maddie Privott, and Ashley Scism.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a sophomore academic status to qualify for this honor.
