PINEVILLE, Ky. - The Trevecca men's golf team finished twelfth overall as the Trojans concluded play in the Wasioto Winds Fall Kickoff Invitational. Trevecca senior Joey Bradley put on a show-stopping performance in the final round on Tuesday morning with a Trevecca record 66 over the final 18 holes. The tournament was played this week at the par 72, 6,656-yard Wasioto Winds Golf Course.

Bradley topped TNU's lineup with a 6th place individual showing. He carded a 214 (78-70-66). William Potts and Stephen Williams came in next with a 62nd place finish, turning in a 233 (79-77-77) and 233 (79-76-78) respectively.

The previous lowest individual 18 hole record was 69 set by Joey Bradley and David Saldana. Both shot their 69 during the 2009-2010 season. Bradley at the Coosa Country Club in Georgia and Saldana at the Pickwick Landing course. Bradley has shot a round of 69 on two other occasions. Tyler Qualls also shot a round of 69, but all three of those rounds were on par 71 courses.

The 54-hole tournament was played at the Wasioto Winds course at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park. There were 36 holes played on Monday, with the final 18 on Tuesday morning. The Trojans are in twelfth place among the 12 teams competing. There are 75 golfers participating.

Trevecca's Skip Jones finished in a tie for 70th with a 241 (82-79-80), while David Saldana finished with a 265 (92-90-82).

Northern Kentucky finished with a three-round team score of 857 to win the event by four strokes over second place UT Martin. Southern Illinois was third, followed by Eastern Illinois, Bellarmine and Morehead State. Tennessee Tech (ninth) and Murray State (10th) were the other two OVC schools playing. EIU's David Lawrence was crowned individual medalist by scoring an eight-under-par 208.

The Trojans' next action is next week in the third annual Greystone Cup, a Ryder Cup-style competition, on Sept. 19-20 in Dickson, Tenn. at the Greystone Golf Course. Trevecca has won each of the first two events in dramatic fashion.
