NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Trojans (1-2, 0-1) hosted Union University (4-1, 1-0) for their first conference match of the year on Tuesday, September 9, falling to the Lady Bulldogs 4-0.

Caitlin Zimmerman netted a natural hat-trick in the first half, and the Trojans were victims of a bad bounce off of Trojan defender Danyelle Martin, and at the break, Union held the 4-0 advantage. The Trojans came out of the half and picked up the pressure, but Union goalkeeper Laura Pla was there to make every stop, recording the shutout. Trojan Keeper Amy Maslyn played well, despite taking her second loss of the season.

The Trojans will continue their season on Saturday when they travel to Memphis, Tenn. to take on Crichton College. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00.
