ROME, Ga. - The Trevecca men's golf team finished third at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational hosted by Berry College. As a team, Trevecca finished with a 292-302 594, just one stroke behind Union College (Ky.) and 12 back of first place Lee University (286-286 572).

William Potts, a senior from Nashville, led the Trojan effort finishing fourth overall with a one-under par 71-72 143. The score is a personal best for Potts in a two-round collegiate event. Potts made the 2011 Chick-fil-A All-Tournament team.

The Coosa Country Club course played to a par of 72 over 6924 yards. There were 19 teams and 115 golfers participating.

Trevecca's Dylan Waters was 33rd with a 74-77 151 and was followed closely by Joey Bradley who carded a 75-77 152. Austin Dillard (72-82 154) and Stephen Williams (79-76 155) rounded out the Trevecca team scores. David Saldana played as an individual for Trevecca and turned in a 82-77 159.

Matt Emery of Lee University topped the tournament with a 70-66 136.

Trevecca will return to action on Monday when they'll participate in the two-day UT-Martin Skyhawk Classic at the Pickwick Landing State Park in Buchanan, Tenn.
