BATESVILLE, Ark. - Trevecca (6-3, 2-1) traveled to Batesville, Ark. to face the Pipers of Lyon College (2-3, 0-1) on Saturdaytaking the match 3 sets to 1.
The Trojans took the first set 25-16, but the Pipers fought back to capture set number two by an identical 25-16 score. From there it was all Trojans, as Trevecca polished off the match 25-21 and 25-15.
The Trojans will continue their season on Monday night when they head to Jackson, Tenn. to take on the Eagles of Lambuth University. The match is slated for 7:00.
