Trevecca Women's Golf Home
BURKESVILLE, Ky. - Trevecca's women's golf team opened their season with a fifth place finish at the two-day Mid-South Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Lindsey Wilson College at the Dale Hollow State Park course in Burkesville, Ky. The course played to a par of 72 over 5,930 yards. There were eight teams and 45 golfers competing in the event.

Trevecca finished fifth with a team score of (340-352) 692. TNU's Betsy Beaver finished ninth overall with a score of (85-84) 169. All of Trevecca's individual golfers finished in the top 20. Ashley Birdwell was 11th with a (89-81) 170. Alyssa Moe was 15th with a (79-94) 173 and Brooke Dillehay was 20th with a (87-93) 180.

Lindsey Wilson won the tournament with a (318-319) 637 and the Tournament Medalist was Krista Burton who carded a (75-76) 151 for Lindsey Wilson.

Trevecca will tee it up again when they host the Trevecca Fall Invitational at Ravenwood Country Club in Hermitage, Tenn. on October 6-7, 2008.
