NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca men's soccer player Jonathan Baskin has been named to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-District Team.

The 2011 Capital One Academic All-District ® Men's Soccer Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Capital One became the entitlement rights holder to CoSIDA's Academic All-America teams programs in 2011.

Baskin, a sophomore forward from Mt. Juliet, Tenn., has a cumulative grade point average of 4.0. Baskin has helped lead Trevecca to an eight-win season and its first-ever berth into the NCCAA Regional Championship. Baskin has a goal and an assist on the season.

Baskin will now be eligible for the Capital One Academic All-America team to be announced in a few weeks. For more information visit www.cosida.com. Trevecca is in District 4 of the College Division.
