NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca (9-4, 3-2) hosted conference foe Lyon College (4-5, 2-3) and non-conference Spring Hill College on Saturday in a Tri-Match.

In the first match of the day Trevecca faced Lyon. The Pipers took the first game 25-21. In game two the Pipers pulled ahead early and then held on 25-20. The third and deciding game went extra points, but the Pipers outlasted the Trojans to win the game and match 28-26.

The Trojans faced the Badgers (6-10) in the final match. Trevecca took the first set of the match 25-21. Spring Hill battled hard out of the gate in set number 2 as the Trojans and Badgers split the first 18 points. After the 9-9 tie, however, it was all Trojans. Trevecca finished on a 16-9 run, taking the set 25-18 and taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the match. In the third and final set, the Trojans stormed out of the gate and never looked back, taking it 25-14 to secure the victory.

Trevecca will host a non-conference match with Crichton College on Monday at 4 p.m.
