Trevecca's men's soccer team (2-3-1) will head to Owensboro, Ky. to take on Kentucky Wesleyan (2-7) on Tuesday, taking the 2-1 win over the Panthers.
Mark Foster opened the scoring 11:03 into the match, netting his second goal of the season to give the Trojans the 1-0 lead. Foster added his third goal of the season 13 minutes later, building the Trojans' advantage to 2-0, a lead they would take into the locker room at the half. John Grieb scored for Kentucky Wesleyan two minutes into the second half, but the Trojans shut down the Panthers from there, taking the 2-1 road victory. Hayden Coffman played the entire game for the Trojans, notching five saves in the win. Ryan Samuels started and took the loss for the Panthers, exiting at halftime in favor of Cameron Switzer for the second half.
The Trojans return to action for a TranSouth match on Saturday when they host Bethel College (2-3-1, 0-0) at 3:00.
