Trevecca Tournament Photos

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca's women's golf team hosted the Trevecca Fall Invitational at Ravenwood Country Club in Hermitage, Tenn. on October 6-7, 2008. There were eight teams and 47 golfers competing on the course that played to a par of 72 over 5,843.

Bethel College (Ind.) won the event with a (325-324) 649. Lindsey Wilson finished second with a (323-332) 655. Lindsey Wilson led team tournament play after the first round on Monday. Trevecca finished seventh with a team score of (363-377) 740.

The individual medalist was Rachel Ingram of Lee University with a (73-75) 148. The Trevecca Fall Invitational All-Tournament team included Maegan Rice of the University of Mobile at (74-75) 149, Angela Gauck of Marian (Ind.) College at (71-81) 152, Shana Page of Bethel (Ind.) College at (75-78) 153, Krista Burton of Lindsey Wilson at (76-79) 155, Brook Gilbert of Bethel (Ind.) College at (81-78) 159, and Erika Lundberg of the University of Mobile at (78-81) 159.

Ashley Birdwell led the Trevecca contingent in twelfth place with a (82-86) 168. Alyssa Moe at No. 22with a (91-89) 180, Betsy Beaver carded a (91-96) 187, and Brooke Dillehay posted a (99-106) 205 to round out the Trojan entrants.

Trevecca has two more events on their fall schedule. On October 13-14 the team will play in the Chik-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational at the Coosa Country Club in Rome, Ga. The final fall match will take place at the Flagler College Fall Slam at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla. on October 27-28.
