ROME, Ga. - Trevecca's women's golf team competed in the Chik-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational. The tournament was hosted at the 6,011-yard, par 72, Coosa Country Club. There were 12 teams and 57 golfers participating.

As a team Trevecca finished 11th with a total of (359-354) 713. Trevecca's Ashley Birdwell finished 32nd with an (87-84) 171.

Krista Burton was the medalist and helped her team, Lindsey Wilson, to a eight-stroke victory at the Chick-fil-A Women's Invitational hosted by Berry College.

The rest of the Trojan contingent was Betsy Beaver (89-89) 178, Alyssa Moe (90-90) 180, and Brooke Dillehay (93-92) 184.

The women's team has one more fall match. They will participate in the Flagler College Fall Slam at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla. on October 27-28.
