MAYFIELD, Ky. - Trevecca (14-6, 7-4) visited Mid-Continent University (0-17, 0-11) in Mayfield, Ky. on Thursday, sweeping the Cougars 3-0.

The Trojans came out of the gate on fire, taking the first set 25-10. From there, they would not look back, allowing the Cougars just 13 points the rest of the night, taking sets two and three 25-6 and 25-7 respectively.

Trevecca hit .563 as a team, which included five players who each hit better than .500 in the match: Rachel Spotten (3 Kills, 6 Attempts, .500), Jennifer Peterson (8 K, 1 Error, 12 Att., .583 ),  Angelyn Stanton (6 K, 9 Att., .667), Kaley Ward (8 K, 1 E, 10 Att., .700), and Ashton O'Halloran (5 K, 7 Att., .714)

The next home match will be on Saturday, October 18 when they host a Tri-Match with Evangel (Mo.) College (17-10) and Christian Brothers University. TNU will face Evangel at Noon and Chrisitan Brothers (16-6) at 4 p.m. Evangel and Christian Brothers will play at 2 p.m.
