NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca (14-8) hosted a Tri-Match at Moore Gym today. Trevecca hosted Evangel (Mo.) College (19-11) and Christian Brothers (20-6) of Memphis. 
 
In the first match Trevecca fell to Evangel (Mo.) College 28-30, 15-25, 25-21, 11-25. The opening set proved critical as both teams had more than once chance to win. Trevecca bounced back in set three, but couldn't maintain the momentum in the fourth game.
 
In the day's final match, the Trojans split the first two setswith the Lady Bucs of Christian Brothers. CBU took the first set 25-19, but the Trojans bounced back in the second, taking it 25-23. Set number three was the crucial set in the match, and though the Trojans fought valiantly, the Lady Bucs took the set 25-22. Trevecca took an early lead in the fourht set, but the momentum the Lady Bucs had built proved too much, as Christian Brothers took the match in four, winning the decisive set 25-21. 
 
Trevecca will host conference foe Union University (18-4, 8-2) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
