NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca (16-8) hosted former conference foe Lambuth University (12-10) on Thursday, taking the match from the Lady Eagles in straight sets.

In the second set, the Trojans won seven of the first nine points, and steadily pulled away from there. Lambuth would get no closer than three points the remainder of the game, and the Trojans took a commanding 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-16 second set win.

Lambuth used an 8-1 run in the middle of the third set to take a 12-10 lead, but again the Trojans turned to a server to break the momentum. This time it was Kelly Huff who served eight consecutive points, putting the Trojans up 19-13 en route to the 25-17 set win.
