LEBANON, Tenn. - Trevecca (18-9, 9-5 TSAC) traveled to Lebanon, Tenn. to take on the Cumberland Bulldogs (16-16, 5-8) at 6:00, taking their final regular season match in straight sets 3-0.

Trevecca battled hard out of the gate before opening a six point edge midway through the first set. Cumberland battled back to cut it to four, but that was as close as they would get, dropping the first set 25-20. The second and third sets saw Cumberland take the early lead, but the Bulldogs could not make either lead stick. In set number two, the Trojans battled back to take an eight point lead at 20-12 before closing out the 25-20 win, and in the final set, the teams battled evenly after the Trojans tied the set at 12-12 with Trevecca eventually taking the set and the match 25-22.
The Trojans now await the TranSouth volleyball tournament, which will be played at Union University in Jackson, Tenn. The Trojans will be no worse than the #3 seed in the tournament, and could go as high as the #2 seed if Union drops their last two TranSouth matches.
