NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The TranSouth Scholar Athlete list has been announced for 2008-2009, and eight Trojans find their names on the list.
Mark Foster, a 5'6" senior from Newcastle, Ireland; Brad Camp, a 5'8" senior from Hendersonville, Tenn.; and Matthew Marrotte, a 5'9" senior from Vero Beach, Fla., each make the list as seniors for the Trojans. Junior Caylan Goodman (5'11", Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) and Sophomores Benji Bussell (5'7", Lakeland, Fla.), Parker Hughes (6'3", Clarksville, Tenn.), Fernando Lopez (5'9", Nashville, Tenn.), and Craig Parker (5'8", Franklin, Tenn.) all were on the list as well.
To earn TranSouth Scholar Athlete honorw, a player must be a sophomore, junior, or senior academically, and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
