NASHVILLE, Tenn. - #RV Trevecca visited NCAA DI Tennessee State on Wednesday, Falling to the Tigers in an exhibition game 101-75.
 
The Trojans came out strong early, taking a pair of leads in the game's opening minutes, but the Tigers came back quickly, taking the lead and stretching it to at 21 point edge at the break, 48-27. In the Second half, Matthew Elliott and Michael France led the Trojans on the comeback trail, closing to within 11 at 70-59 with 9:00 remaining, but that was as close as the Trojans would get, as Tennessee State pulled away late for the 101-75 win.
 
Elliott led the Trojans offensively with 30 points on 12-of-15 shooting, including 5-for-6 behind the three point arc. France and Jeremy Dixon each chipped in 12 points in the game, and France led the Trojans with seven boards. De'Jon Everson dished out five assists in the contest. 
The Trojans will be back in action on Saturday, November 8, when the Wolves of the University of Michigan at Dearborn (0-1) come to town. The Trojans have a 4-0 all-time mark against the wolves. Game time is slated for 2:30 p.m.
