JACKSON, Tenn. - The Trevecca's men's soccer team (9-7-2) upset host Union University 1-0 in a TranSouth Tournament First Round match at Union. The tournament win is the first victory in postseason play in the programs history. The nine wins is the most in a season for a Jeff Carr coached team and is one away from the most in program history.

Trevecca's Sam Madeley scored the game winner at 30:05. Hayden Coffman had eight saves for the Trojans. Union had 13 shots. Trevecca had six shots.

Trevecca will advance to the TranSouth semifinal round on Tuesday. Trevecca will face No. 2 seeded Bethel College (11-5-1). The match will be played at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tenn. on Tuesday. The time will be announced as soon as possible.
