MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - #RV Trevecca (1-0) played their final exhibition game on Friday at NCAA Division 1 Middle Tennessee State University. The Trojans, playing without four of their regular contributors, fell 94-53 at the Murphy Center.

MTSU jumped out to a fast start with the aid of some long range sharp shooting. The Blue Raiders hit 8-for-9 from three-point range in the first half while the normally hot shooting Trojans were 0-4 from deep. MTSU led 46-24 at the break. The host team didn't let up much in the second half as they shot 21-of-32 (65.6%) from the field in the second half and hit another four three-pointers. Trevecca hit just 4-of-16 (25%) from three-point range for the game.

Jeremy Dixon was the only Trojan in double figures with 12 points. Tulio Yamasita had eight points and a team high six rebounds. Christopher Harris added nine points and five rebounds. De'Jon Everson had a team high four assists.

The Trojans will travel to play No. 23 University of Illinois Springfield (1-0) with nearly a full squad on Saturday. The game time is 7 p.m. though it was originally listed as a 4 p.m. tip.
