SAN DIEGO, Calif. - #RV Trevecca wrapped up their west coast swing on Saturday night, falling to #RV Point Loma Nazarene (2-1) 57-51.
 
Trevecca came out early and hung with Point Loma, taking a six point lead, but Point Loma came back, building a five point lead before Trevecca closed to within three at the half, 28-25. Trevecca briefly reclaimed the lead at 37-36, but Point Loma quickly took it back. Trevecca closed to within two in the closing moments, but could get not get any closer, and Point Loma pulled away for the 57-51 win.
 
Brian Oduor led the Trojans with 21 points, while Matthew Elliott and Jeremy Dixon each had 11. Dixon had 11 rebounds to complete the double-double, and Oduor grabbed nine boards as well.
 
Trevecca shot 16-of-47 (34%) from the floor, 2-of-21 (9.5%) from long distance, and 17-of-23 (73.9%) from the charity stripe.
 Trevecca will return home to face Free Will Baptist (0-0) on Tuesday night at 7:00.
