Jennifer Bognar is now third on the Trojans all-time rebounding list with 595

GEORGETOWN, Ky. - NAIA No. 4 Trevecca (9-0) visited NAIA No. 18 Georgetown College (5-3) on Tuesday, coming away with the 69-47 win.It was Trevecca's first win over Georgetown on the road.

Trevecca trailed only once in the game, at 3-2, and midway through the first half, the Trojans rattled off a 10-2 run, stretching their lead to 11 points. Trevecca kept pushing the lead out, taking a 39-25 advantage into the break. Trevecca began the second half with a 9-0 run that basically put the game away. The Tigers would close to 11 with 12 minutes remaining, but that was as close as the game would get. Trevecca led by as many as 24 several times in the second half, and the Trojans posted a 22 point margin of victory, 69-47.

Jennifer Bognar, the current TranSouth Player of the Week, led the Trojans with 20 points, and passed Stephanie Arnett for third place on the Trojans all-time rebounding list in the game. She grabbed eight boards and now has 595 rebounds in her career. Angelica Sails had 15 points in the game, Casey Pigue had 10, and Casey Attebery led the Trojans with seven assists. Trevecca held Georgetown to a field goal percentage of 19.7 for the game.

The Trojans shot 23-of-54 (42.6%) from the floor, 6-of-21 (28.6%) from long range, and 17-of-26 (65.4%) from the foul line.

Trevecca will take the rest of the week off, and will return to action on Thursday December 4 for their TranSouth opener against No. 3 Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions (5-2) at 6:00.
