NASHVILLE, Tenn. - #RV Trevecca (3-4) returned home to face the Flames of Free Will Baptist (1-9), taking a 121-46 win to snap a three game losing streak.
 
Trevecca used a 10-0 run to take the early 16-4 lead with 14:52 to play in the first half. After Free Will scored to stop the run, Trevecca immediately went on another run, this time 11-0, to make the score 27-6. The Trojans continued to steadily pull away for the remainder of the half, and at the break, Trevecca hald the lead, 58-28. Early in the second half, Trevecca ran off another 10-0 run to make the score 74-32, then put the game away with a 20-2 run that made the score 99-38. Free Will Baptist scored their final basket of the game with 5:53 to play, and the Trojans finished with a 20-0 run, producing the final margin of 121-46.
 
Five Trojans scored in double figures, led by Tulio Yamasita's 23 point effort. Michael France put up 19 points, and Brian Oduor scored 17. Dennis Miruka and Christopher Harris each put up double-doubles, Miruka scoring 14 points, Harris posting 12, and each grabbing 14 rebounds. France dished out a team high seven assists as well.
 
Trevecca shot 52-of-91 (52.1%) as a team from the floor, 3-of-22 (13.6%) from behind the arc, and 14-of-20 (70%) from the foul line. Trevecca out-rebounded Free Will 64-24 and recorded 35 assists in the game.
 
The Trojans will hit the road this weekend, traveling to Columbus, Ohio for the Ohio Dominican Classic. The Trojans will take on the host Ohio Dominican Panthers (2-2) on Friday night at 8:00, and will face Point Park University (4-2) on Saturday at 2:00.
