COLUMBUS, Ohio. - #RV Trevecca (5-4)wrapped up their weekend by facing Point Park (5-4) on Saturday, defeating the Pioneers 104-71.
 
The Pioneers took their largest lead of the game by scoring the game's first basket to make it 2-0. Chris Harris made a three-point basket to give the Trojans the lead 3-2, and for much of the remainder half, the teams swapped the lead. There were six ties and 17 lead changes in the half, and neither team led by more than five until late in the half. In the final four minutes, the Trojans ran off a 9-0 run to take the game's largest lead at 48-39 before Point Park scored at the buzzer to cut the advantage to seven at the break. The Trojans used the momentum to change the complexion of the game in the second half. Trevecca immediately pushed the lead out to double-digits, and never looked back. Harris and Brian Oduor - who both made the All-Classic team - led the Trojans offensively, and Trevecca took the 104-71 win.
 
Harris recorded the Trojans' first triple-double in a number of years with 15 points, 10 boards, and10 assists for the Trojans in the win. Oduor led all scorers with 27 points, passing Darryl Keckler for 20th on the Trojans all-time scoring list. Michael France (14), Tulio Yamasita (13), and Matthew Elliott (12) also scored in double figures for the Trojans. Dennis Miruka led the Trojans with four blocked shots and added seven rebounds.
 
Trevecca shot 38-of-67 (56.7%) from the field, 11-of-20 (55%) from long distance, and 17-of-22 (77.3%) from the free throw line. The Trojans out-rebounded the Pioneers 44-38.
 
Trevecca will continue their season on Thursday night, when they welcome the Freed-Hardeman Lions (6-4) to open the TranSouth portion of the schedule. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00.
