NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca (8-8, 2-1) handled TranSouth foe Lyon College (6-7, 0-4) 96-62 on Saturday. Trevecca senior Brian Oduor moved into 12th place on the all-time career scoring list. With his 19 points today, he now has 1,382 career points. He passed Charles Torain (1,376), Michael Blivens (1,377), and Jamandas Moore (1,379) today. Collins Onyando is next in 11th place with 1,396 points.

The Trojans started fast with a 18-2 run through the first seven minutes of the game. The Scots would get no closer than 10 again. Lyon cut the Trevecca lead to 10 points (18-8) with 8:33 to go in the half. The Trojans erased all doubt with a 10-2 run and led 28-10 with 6:16 to go in the half. TNU's largest lead of the half was 26 points (45-19) at the break.

The second half saw the Trojans continue to slowly pull away. They would lead by 34 points on two occassions. The first come at the 7:04 mark (83-49) and again with the final margin of 96-32.

Brian Oduor scored 19 points to lead a group of five Trojans who scored in double figures. Tyler Watkins (14), Christopher Harris (12), Michael France (12), and Matthew Elliott (11) all reached double figures. Tulio Yamasita led Trevecca with eight rebounds and also scored nine points. De'Jon Everson led the team with five assists. Oduor also had a team-high two blocks and five steals.

As a team Trevecca hit 35-of-66 (53%) from the field, 7-of-14 (50%) from three-point range, and 19-of-30 (63%) from the foul line. Trevecca out rebounded Lyon 40-37.

Trevecca is now 11-10 all-time versus Lyon and have won the last five games.

Trevecca will take a week off before hosting No. 16 Martin Methodist (14-2, 4-1) on Saturday, January 17 at 4 p.m.
