BATESVILLE, Ark. - NAIA No. 3 Trevecca (18-4, 7-3 TranSouth) fell for the third time in a row, this time on the road at Lyon College (9-15, 5-7) by the score of 64-63.

The Trojans led 29-28 at the break, but had led most of the first half. Lyon scored the final six points of the half to put pressure on the Trojans. Trevecca's last lead in the game was 39-38 with 12:33 to play. They did tie the game at 61 with 1:45 to go on a Christian Gibson three-pointer. .

Trevecca's top two scorers were plagued with foul trouble throughout and lost Jennifer Bognar with :51 in the game. Bognar was limited to 20 minutes while Lawson only played 21 minutes. Trevecca had a final opportunity to win the game, but a three-point attempt fell short and the Trojans fell.

Bognar led the Trojans with 22 points and had four rebounds. Angelica Sails had a team high six rebounds and two blocks. Christian Gibson (15) was the only other Trojans to hit double figures in scoring. Treveca was 22-for-51 (43%) from the field, 6-for-16 (37%) from three-point range, and hit 13-of-18 (72%) from the foul line. Lyon had a 28-27 advantage in rebounding.

The Trojans will host No. 4 Lambuth University (17-4) on Thursday at 6 p.m.
