BATESVILLE, Ark. - Trevecca (10-13, 4-6 TranSouth) lost 79-78 at Lyon College (8-14, 2-10) on Saturday when a last second shot didn't fall.

The Trojans had rallied from a 71-59 deficit with 5:46 remaining and took a 78-77 lead with 1:02 to play. It was the first lead the Trojans since tthey held a 26-24 lead at the 7:18 mark of the first half. The Scots answered though and Brian Oduors last second shot missed.

Trevecca got 29 points from Oduor and freshman Michael France added 26. No other Trojan reached double-figures in scoring. Oduor and Jeremy Dixon led the team with eight rebounds apiece. Dixon also had a team-high six assists. France was 5-for-8 from three-point range.

The Trojans were 26-of-57 (45%) from the field, 8-of-23 (35%) from beyond the arch, and hit 18-of-28 (64%) from the foul line. Lyon led the rebounding category 41-27, but Lyon turned the ball over 19 times while the Trojans only had seven.

Trevecca will host Lambuth University (13-8) on Thursday at 8 p.m.
