The Trojans jumped on top early thanks to a fast start from Trojan senior Christopher Harris. Harris hit five threes in the first half, but the Eagles came roaring back, taking a 41-32 lead into the locker room at the break. The Eagles withstood every Trojan charge in the second half, leading by at least 20 points for much of the last five minutes of the game. Trevecca committed 29 turnovers in the game, and the Eagles took the win 83-62.
Michael France led the Trojans with 16 points, while Harris and Brian Oduor each chipped in 15. Harris led the Trojans with six rebounds, while Matthew Elliott dished out five assists. As a team, the Trojans shot 22-of-54 (40.7%) from the floor, 9-of-20 (45%) from long range, and 9-of-18 (50%) from the charity stripe. The Eagles also outscored the Trojans 44-20 in the paint, and 28-10 off turnovers.
