NASHVILLE, Tenn. - NAIA No. 20 Trevecca Nazarene Trojans (2-3) started a three-game series at Milligan College (3-2) with a double-header on Friday. Milligan salvaged the split with a 4-3 win in game 2.

 Drew Durossette (0-2) opposed Shawn Ray (2-0) in the second game of the twin bill. Milligan jumped on the board early, plating a run in the first and two more in the second to take the early 2-0 lead. Trevecca scored twice in the top of inning number three to cut the deficit to 3-2. The Buffaloes scored in the bottom of the fifth to stretch the lead back to two at 4-2, but the Trojans answered in the top of the sixth with a run to pull back within a single run. In the top of the seventh, the Trojans had runners at first and second with two out for Chris Lowe at the plate, but Lowe flied out to the wall in centerr field to end the game as Jason Trivett (2) earned the save for Milligan. Marty Parks was 2-for-4 in the game with 2 RBI. Milligan scored four runs on six hits with two errors, while Trevecca scored three runs on six hits and made one error.
 
The teams will play a single game on Saturday beginning at Noon.
