MILLIGAN, Tenn. - NAIA No. 20 Trevecca Nazarene Trojans (3-3) completed a three-game series at Milligan College (4-3) with a single game on Saturday, taking the victory, and the series, 12-0.
 
Tim Dunn took the ball for the Trojans, and for the second time in as many starts, he was great. Dunn (2-0) tossed five innings, allowing just one hit while walking two and fanning three. Trevecca jumped on the board early against Milligan starter Mike Gallo in the first inning, plating four runs in the frams. Gallo (0-1) allowed another run to the Trojans in the fourth, before leaving the game in the sixth inning. The floodgates opened for the Trojans in the sixth inning against the Buffaloes' bullpen, notching seven runs off of three different Wildcat pitchers to break the game wide open, stretching the lead to 12-0.

Jeff Hughes pitched the sixth inning for the Trojans, and Ryan Whitson handled the seventh to preserve the win and take the weekend set from Milligan. Marty Parks was 2-for-5 for the Trojans with a double, two runs scored, and two RBI. Cody Heggie belted his first homer of the season as a part of a 2-for-4 day that also included a double, two runs scored and three RBI. Aaron Bree went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs, and an RBI; and Omar DeJesus was 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, and three RBI.

Trevecca scored 12 runs on 11 hits and made one error, while Milligan was held to just two hits and two errors.

The Trojans continue their season opening road trip in Mt. Berry, Ga. on Tuesday, when they take on the Berry Vikings (4-2) in a twin bill. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00.
