In game two Trevecca scored a run in the first, four in the second and one in the third to pull ahead 6-0. Berry scored a run in the fourth and fifth inning to make it a 6-2 game. Trevecca answered with three in the sixth to take a 9-2 lead. The Vikings rallied in the seventh with three runs, but couldn't finish the come back and fell 9-6.

Chase Dixon (1-0) picked up his for win in a Trojan uniform going six innings. Dixon allowed three runs on six hits. He had just one strikeout in the game. Ryon Whitson pitched 2/3 of an inning and allowed three runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk. He had one strikeout. Brent Amburn got the final out for his first save of the season. Amburn allowed on walk.

Marty Parks, Brian Dirheimer, Cody Heggie, Chase Birdwell, and Ross Muirhead all had two hits in the game. Parks scored two runs, had a stolen base and a double. Dirheimer had a double, two RBI, and a run scored. Muirhead had a home run, a stolen base, two runs scored, and three RBI. Heggie, Chris Lowe, and Aaron Bree also had a stolen base.

Trevecca scored nine runs on 11 hits and had an error. Berry scored six runs on nine hits and had three errors..

The Trojans home opener will be Friday at 2 p.m. when No. 18 Auburn Montgomery (7-4) comes for the first of a three-game series at Trevecca's Jackson Field. The two teams will face off in a Noon double-header on Saturday.
