NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene Trojans (9-7) lost 13-12 to visiting Reinhardt College (12-3) on Wednesday with a single game at 2 p.m.

A day after the bats were held in check the Trojans put 12 runs on the board against the Eagles, but the Trojans gave up 11 hits and 13 runs to the Eagles and fell 13-12, the second day in a row the Trojans have suffered a one run loss at hom. Trevecca committed three errors and walked 13 batters. Trevecca threw six pitchers on the day. Chase Dixon started and went three innings. He walkd five and allowed three hits. The loss went to Wesley Griggs who allowed four runs.

Aaron Bree was 2-4 with three RBI, a Walk, and a run scored. Matt Lye was 2-5 with a double and a run scored. Ross Muirhead scored three times and was 0-1 with three walks. Nathan Wright was 2-2 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Friday (Live Audio) the Trojans will open conference play with a three-game series against Freed-Hardeman (8-4). TNU and FHU will play a single game starting at 2 p.m. on Friday and a double header Saturday at Noon. The home stand will conclude with a single game on Monday, March 9th at 2 p.m. versus Lindsey Wilson (3-3).
