NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca's baseball team (18-12, 5-1 TranSouth) hosted the Lambuth Eagles (20-9) for a double-header on Saturday, with the Trojans taking the back half of the twin bill 5-1.

Tim Dunn started the second game for the Trojans, and though he gave up an uneraned run in the top of the first, he was quickly given a big lead. Trevecca scored all five of their runs in the bottom of the second inning. Neither team could muster any offense the rest of the game, and the Trojans took the game, and the series, 5-1. Dunn (7-0) earned the win, throwing 5 1/3 innings and allowing one unearned run on four hits. Dunn walked one and struck out three in the game, defeating Kory Bates (2-2). Offensively, Matt Tidwell was 1-for-3 with a tripl, a run scored and three RBI; and Chris Lowe was 1-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. Brian Dirheimer, Cody Heggie, Nathan Wright, Aaron Bree, Chase Birdwell, and Matt Lyle each had hits for the Trojans as well. Trevecca scored five runs on eight hits and committed two errors, while Lambuth scored one run on five hits and made one error.

Trevecca will be back in action on Wednesday when the Georgetown College Tigers (13-14) come to Nashville for a double-header at Noon.
