NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trevecca softball coach Ben Tyree has added another player to his roster for the Fall of 2009 with the signing of Katie Eubanks of Athens, Alabama.

Eubanks, a 5'2" outfielder from Decatur, Ala., played for Toney Vining's 2008 Alabama 1A State Championship team at Athens Bible School. Eubanks led the team with the best batting average (.361), On-Base Percentage (.521), and Runs Scored (41). For her efforts she was named honorable mention AWSA 1A All-State.

Coach Tyree commented on her signing with the Trojans, "Katie is another player coming to us from a program with a winning tradition.  We look forward to helping us immediately giving us depth in our outfield."

Athens Bible also finished as the Alabama 1A State Runner-up in 2005 and 2006.

She is currently attending Calhoun Community College, but didn't play softball during her time there. Her parents are Terry & Marie Eubanks
