NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Trojan Volleyball got some preliminary match play in this evening beating the Trojan Alumni 4-0 at Moore Gymnasium.

Coach Crowley's team jumped out early on the Alumni winning the first game 25-16.  The Alumni picked up the pace in the second and third games however the Lady Trojans were able to stabilize the Alumni efforts and win the second game 25-21 and third game 25-22.  The final game the Lady Trojans rallied from 5 points down to win 26-24.

Senior Kaley Ward (12-25) and Junior Teegan Hunziker (9-24) led the Trojans in kills for the match.  Junior Brooke Cannon had a solid overall game hiting for a .667% (6-9), 38 assists, and 10 digs.  Senior Kim Coffey led the team with 13 digs.

The girls will get two days off before they begin regular season play.  Tuesday Volleyball will be hosting Campbellsville University at 6:00 p.m.
