NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trojans (0-2) fell in straight games to Lee University at Moore Gymnasium this evening.  The final match score was 20-25, 25-27, 19-25.

In the first game the Trojans fell behind early down 3-7.  Fighting their way back they got as close as 9-11 but couldn't close the gap losing 20-25.  The second game (25-27) was a battle with both teams holding long rallies.  With the Trojans leading late 24-21 and eying victory, some late game errors handed the game over to Lee University.  In the third game Trevecca wasn't able to sustain long runs by Lee University finding themselves down as much as 9 points.  Trevecca battled back getting as close as 19-23 but the Flames were too much for the Trojans with the Trojans losing 19-25.

Teegan Hunziker and Kaley Ward led the Trojans with 13 and 7 kills respectively.  Kimi Coffey had 10 digs and 2 service aces.  Jessica Hood and Teegan Hunziker had 10 digs as well.  Brooke Cannon finished up with 26 assists.

Trojan Volleyball will hit the road this Saturday traveling to Wilmore, Ky. to take part in the Asbury Quad facing Mountain State University at 1 p.m. and Asbury College at 3 p.m.  Trevecca will be back at home Tuesday, Sept. 8th, at 7 p.m. to face up against Brescia University.
