LONDON, Ky. - The Trevecca men's golf team is participating in the Bill Sergent Invitational at Crooked Creek G.C. The course is playing to a par of 72 over 6,943 yards.There are 14 teams and 80 golfers competing.

Trevecca is currently eighth of 14 teams with a 310. Unfortunately Trevecca's Skip Jones signed an incorrect scorecard and was disqualified. His score of 75 didn't count. If the Trojans had been able to count his score they'd be in third place overall.

Trevecca's Joey Bradley (72) is in sixth place overall. David Saldana (76) is in 20th place. Grant Moffett (78) and Bobby Humburg (84) are the other Trojans competing.

Lee University leads the team competition with a 5-under 272. University of the Cumberlands, the host team is second with 297.
Lee's Tyler Smith and Tyler Hollister both shot a first round 69 to share the individual lead.

The tournament will conclude with a final 18 holes on Friday.
The team will host Union University for the Greystone Cup on September 21-22 at the Greystone Golf Course in Dickson, Tenn.
