NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trojan Volleyball team (4-2, 1-0 TSAC) worked quickly this evening at Moore Gymnasium and beat Mid-Continent University (0-5, 0-4 TSAC). The match was won in straights games 25-8, 25-9, 25-14 and put the Trojans on a four game winning streak.
 
Leading Trevecca with solid overall performances were Teegan Hunziker putting up nine kills, eight digs, and two service aces and Jessica Hood with eight kills, nine digs, and one service ace. Rachel Spotten and Jennifer Peterson both had strong performances serving the ball. Spotten had seven kills and four service aces. Brooke Cannon had a team high 31 assists and two service aces.  
 
The Lady Trojans will travel tomorrow to Georgetown College in Georgetown, Ky. to take part of the Georgetown Tourney. On Friday Trevecca will play Mount Vernon Nazarene College at 3 p.m. and Georgetown College at 7 p.m. On Saturday the volleyball team will face Huston-Tillotson College at 11 a.m. and Calumet College of St. Joseph at 3 p.m.
